PHUKET: An advisor to the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Environment has realised that Phuket’s landfill crisis is creating “visual pollution” – with piles of garbage now beginning to affect the island’s image as a “world-class tourist city”, in what many might consider a statement of the obvious.
